Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, I'm looking forward to a new year! This year I'm hoping to travel more, cut back on my shopping habit, eat the healthiest ever, and get inspired.
I have a lot of things on my list and I hope you guys have some goals set to get you going into the new year. With that said, it is always important to look and feel good about you, so take a browse at my shop. Everything is 25% off with coupon code NEW YEAR, so if you've been eyeing something now is the time! I also marked down a lot of items! http://www.katiegariepy.etsy.com

In The Studio...

These days lately have been non-stop. It's work, then a break, then some work, then business, maybe go out for a drink/meal, sleep, do it all over again. I am in no way complaining, I like to get the most out of every day and feel fully accomplished before going to bed. Thinking of all the things I checked off the list is a nice feeling.
I have been busy in the studio getting many things finished up, here are some photos from me playing around and some of the new products!

Wildfox: The Granny Resort Collection

There's just something about Wildfox Couture. I think it's the use of fun prints, pastel colors, and dreamy-pretty girls. There are some of my favorite looks from Wildfox's winter collection titled The Granny Resort Collection. The looks are of many lingerie and sleep pieces but I feel many can be transitioned into day time. Let me know what you think in the comments, would you buy any of these pieces? I want everything covered in cats. Typical!

Tribute: Luella

LUELLA: If you know me you know my style is similar. I like to create things with a pop. Luella is pop. Luella is also no longer a company (RIP) but I still scroll through past images for inspiration. I also remember being like probably 16 and the Luella and Target collection had come out and I HAD to have some of those pieces. I still have my rainbow plaid blouse with heart pockets on the breasts. Here's a tribute to one of my favorite designers.
Note: I also love how you can tell it's a little dated, view bubble skirts. I still am oddly attracted to everything though! But you won't find me in a bubble skirt anytime soon.

Free People Holiday Collection 2012

I have a love for all things Free People. Their clothes, accessories, styling, bohemian everything, it's all good in my book. This idea hasn't changed for me seeing their holiday collection for this year. I want to wear many of these pieces just out of the sheer comfort look they give. Take a peek at what Free People has to offer, can't wait to stop into our local store and give the clothes a try!
