LFW: Anya Hindmarch's Out of this World

Oh my Anya... I have always been a huge fan of her fun bags, and the clothes are great to boot. But this show is fantastical (A Fashion Odyssey,. it was subtitled), with flying models and purses suspended in the air. The audience is ooh-ing and ah-ing as I would be too to see this in real life.

Top 3 Looks at Erin Fetherston FW13

Erin's line for FW13 is perfect. The colors are my scheme (mostly black) and the prints are minimal. I can see myself wearing these dresses to a multitude of occasions. Also... those floral head wreaths... still great.

Rodarte F/W 2013: Top 3 Looks

The F/W 2013 Rodarte collection is a mix of hards and softs and patterns galore. The flowiness of the gowns contrasts so well with the barbed wire jewelry and creeper shoes. It was hard to pick a top three but these are my favorite looks from the show this season.
Tie dye maxi draped dress is like something you think you could try and DIY but wouldn't come out nearly as cool.

The print on this dress is spot on, a mix between a galaxy and the texture of the moon. And the shoes of course.... are amazing.

This dress is immaculate, also shown in the collection in cream (Cream Rodarte Dress). But if you know me I am a sucker for black.

Tribute: Luella

LUELLA: If you know me you know my style is similar. I like to create things with a pop. Luella is pop. Luella is also no longer a company (RIP) but I still scroll through past images for inspiration. I also remember being like probably 16 and the Luella and Target collection had come out and I HAD to have some of those pieces. I still have my rainbow plaid blouse with heart pockets on the breasts. Here's a tribute to one of my favorite designers.
Note: I also love how you can tell it's a little dated, view bubble skirts. I still am oddly attracted to everything though! But you won't find me in a bubble skirt anytime soon.
