Nerdy Girl: Vintage Style Pokemon Ads

The nerd in me cannot help but squee with delight at these faux Pokemon advertisements. Everything about these makes me happy and also brings back my childhood. Which involved either sitting around covered in Pokemon cards and examining each one. Or hanging out with my friends, while we completely ignored each other and put all our energy into our Gameboy Color and the latest Pokemon game.

Photo Inspiration: Coffee & Cherry Pie via The Loved One

I have been following The Loved One for quite sometime now. When their first kickstarter campaign launched I was crossing my fingers for them to succeed, and succeed they did! Their lingerie is to die for, but past that, their photo shoots are the sweetest thing around. They really captured the feel of Twin Peaks here, and though I have never been I feel like I am there within these photos. Check out the rest of the blog!

Blog Feature: ME AND LEX

Amazing. These two sisters are "addicted to piling on the good stuff". No kidding! Create really unique jewelry from vintage jewelry. The pieces are not sold but holy cow I am lusting after these. Check out more on their blog: Me And Lex

Photo Set: Summer Girls

Sitting out in the sun with my lady in the summer time heat. It has finally hit Buffalo hard and we're sipping our iced coffees & lattes trying to deter a little of this sweat.

The World Of Lisa Frank...

As a 90's kid I can tell you I was obsessed with Lisa Frank. The colors, the animals, the cuteness of it all. Now looking back, it is very tacky, but still sort of awesome, and reminds me of my bright childhood. Urban Outfitters is bringing it back, and has restocked their stores with vintage Lisa Frank! Kind of ridiculous but still fantastic none the less. This video by UO goes into the Lisa Frank headquarters in Arizona and makes me want to live there. Take a peak at the video and check out Urban Outfitters for the Lisa Frank product we used to love.
